The Govt. Polytechnic Udaipur (L&S) is running in temporary location in Sundernagar .
The infrastructure facilities available with mentor Institute wise instructional areas (labs and class rooms , workshops etc.) amenities area, Administrative area etc. are under use for imparting training to the students.

6 Extra Curricular activities with complete details:-
Sports & Cultural Activities:–
The students of this polytechnic are participating in Inter polytechnic athletic and cultural meet and inter poly sports meet being held in any of the polytechnic of Himachal Pradesh. The inter class athletic meet, sport meet are also being conducted in this Polytechnic.
Blood Donation:-
The students of this polytechnic are also attending blood donation camp organized in the town. The students of this Institute also donate blood as per request of local community
Celebration of national days and swacch abhiyan, social activities :
The national days, social activities swacch abhiyhan and tree plantation etc. also being organized in the Institute.

The students welfare committee has been constituted by this Institute consisting of faculty members and students class representative. The meeting of students welfare committee is being held in each semester to look after the welfare of the students and activities and work under taken by the Institute in the interest of the students .
8. Transport Facilities with details:-
Govt. Polytechnic Udaipur camp at Sundernagar is situated on Chandigarh –Manali National Highway (NH-21) at a distance of 175 Kms. From Chandigarh towards Manali and well connected with the transport facility.
9.Age of the Institute and its achievements :-
The Institute was setup in the year 2013.
Achievements
a. Selection in Govt. Engg. College for higher education 5 Nos.
b. Silver trophy in basketball during inter polytechnic sports meet held in
Govt. Polytechnic Kangra in the year 2015.
c. Silver trophy in nati during athletic cum cultural meet held in Govt.
Polytechnic Hamirpur in the year 2016 .
d. Silver trophy in gazal during athletic cum cultural meet held in Govt.
Polytechnic Hamirpur in the year 2016 .
